France has sent combat troops to Ukraine.
Men from the 3rd Infantry Regiment French Foreign Legion have been deployed to support the Ukrainian 5th Mechanized Brigade at Slavyansk.

calm the fuck down. the only ones freaking out here are the russians because they're LOSING.
Except the Russians are winning. It is virtually impossible for Ukraine to win this war. Everyone knows it. And Russia would be totally justified in putting a tactical nuke on Paris for this clown move.
There is a big difference between a couple dozen "advisors" and sending in combat troops.
