[Reading this excellent piece by Daniel Greenfield, among other things, I had this thought: We’ve endured a lot of one-sided screaming about the treatment received by Gitmo detainees, but precious little information about why they were detained in the first place. Without that dimension - kept under wraps by the White House-controlled media - it’s been hard to form an intelligent opinion and evaluate the nature of their threat and the rationale for our interrogation methods. Greenfield should be applauded for partially lifting that veil. This all raises the question, “does Obama know the damage he’s doing?” After seeing Barack Hussein Obama in action for the last six years, I have little doubt that he does. df]
