Why History Is Not Taught: Seneca ..........from Rico

Seneca (4 BCE-65 CE) was Rome's leading intellectual figure.

"Seneca had made the bargain that many good men have made when agreeing to bad regimes. The Rome he had been trained to serve, the Rome of Augustus and Germanicus, was gone. In its place stood Neropolis, ruled by a megolomaniac..."

- cite: James Romm "Dying Every Day: Seneca at the Court of Nero"

[Thought: Substitute Rome for our Republic, Reagan and Trump for Augustus and Germanicus, and Obama for the megalomaniac Nero.]

Take away: America is gone and ruled by a psychogically-damaged individual.
