This picture reminded me of better times, but also provides a good 'visual' of what inflation has done to the purchasing power of the US Dollar in a relatively short time.

 

Of course the FED and the USG, much less the tarts in the MSM, have no interest in explaining this to anyone since if it was clearly understood by John Q. Deaux it would be time for tar & feathers.
