If you look back at Barry's eight year reign, everything he did only makes sense if you accept the fact that he was not America's friend, not even a frenemy, but an enemy.

 

His pals in the MSM were too busy giving him hummers and bj's to bother with paying any attention to the damage he was wreaking, much less reporting on it. You see, they are not your friends either.
