Being armed (and using them) has worked awfully well in dealing with the religion of the perpetually offended, and it should work when dealing with "progressive" snowflakes shooting-off their pc-mouths, too. Am armed society is a polite society, as muggers, car-jackers, and home-invaders are discovering.
