Esteban Santiago Identified as Ft. Lauderdale Airport Shooter: Suspect Claimed He Was Forced to Fight for Islamic State

There's still no hard evidence that the suspect was involved with Islamic State.

That said, Santiago had been posting to Jihadi comment boards over a decade ago, and his now-deleted Twitter page featured this selfie showing the suspect in a keffiyeh, making Islamic State gangland hand signs.
