No, I was not about to go all Rudyard Kipling on you, despite the temptation to quote the Nobel Prize winning poet who said:

     "If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

      Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools

      Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

      And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools"

and much more in his famous poem.

 

I was instead speaking to any "special snowflakes" who might have taken offense at my last Hillary jibe (her new slogans "seizure the day" and "depends on me") who, upon reflection, are likely to be MORE offended by things Trump has SAID, than they are by anything that Hillary has DONE.*

 

If Trump was big enough to say he was "sorry" for anything he might have said that hurt 'thenthitive' feelings, then so can I.
