The same 'party elite' who have spared no effort to grab their ankles and "assume the position" while giving Barry everything he wanted (and more) since the mid-term elections are apparently delusional enough to presume their rank-and-file will passively put on some nice cement overshoes and go for a swim in the river because they've now been told to.
