[Now that Cruz is moving up in the polls the Republican elites are sending out their lackeys to slime Ted Cruz. Uber Neocon Max Boot, who is still pushing Gun Boat Diplomacy, nation-building in Arabia and "the surge," is the first out of the corner to take a swing at Cruz. But he won't be the last to wet his pants. In the scheme of things, Das Boot is a lightweight, strictly a second-stringer. The heavy hitters are waiting back in the locker room, ready to hit Cruz below the belt as soon as they are given the command.
