[I don’t think I have encountered a more perplexing public figure than Benjamin Netanyahu. You want so much to believe him, but then you look at his track record and it says something quite different. So many disappointments in Judea and Samaria, harassment of “settlers,” (non)building in Jerusalem, surrender on the Temple Mount, indecisive wars, and inaction against Iran’s nuclear program in spite of his eloquence for almost ten years of his tenure! What’s a simple Jew to think? We will find out one way or another before long. df]
