The first Republican Presidential primary debate for the 2016 elections have just taken place. With the recent talks regarding the nuclear deal with Iran, support for Israel is definitely an important issue. A few of the candidates including Sen Cruz, Sen Rubio and Donald Trump have been vocal in their support for Israel and the right to defend herself. Polls show that President Obama, on the other hand, appears to have lost the confidence of a majority of Israelis that his policies are friendly towards Israel or in our best interests.
