It's not just Fran SanSicko anymore................from Rico

Talking and hand-wringing while spouting naive-but-thenthitive rubbish are not valuable skill sets, but they are now common ones.
- I had to laugh at this clipping from a Frisco newspaper, until I realized the person who wrote this (a) voted, and (b) there were idiots exactly like this all over the country today.

Doing like Farming and Hunting are valuable skill sets, but they are now uncommon ones.
- During the Great Depression and WWII (where the expression "bought the farm" came from) enough people lived on farms that they KNEW where food came from, and how hard it was to grow/harvest all things edible.
- They knew hamburger did not come conveniently on a styrafoam tray wrapped in clear plastic in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.
- They also knew how to hunt for food. Squirrels used to be called "limb chicken" because many folks didn't have a chicken to put into the pot, for example.
