Yes, we have NO inflation.

- You can sing this to the tune of "Yes, we have no bananas" says the BLS. Another regime suggestion is "Don't worry, be happy" (but you have to be on the best drugs taxpayer money can buy to pull that one off).

 

"Because inflation is so low" the government is currently projecting there will be NO cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) for 2016.

- No inflation = No COLA

 

Those on Social Security (and others expecting COLA) better find something even cheaper than ground beef (hamburger) to eat in the coming year.

 

Cheaper than hamburger?

- When Barry Whomever took office the average cost of a pound of hamburger was $2.279. That price had reached $4.235 by January 2015. To be honest, I haven't bothered checking the price since.
