Bamboozled by the FED and lied to by the Government.

- What could possibly go wrong?

 

The FED (and the Government) say there is NO inflation. Here is the FED chart proving that.

- Meanwhile the skeery bogeyman for them both is "deflation" and not "inflation."

 

And, of course, if you do NOT include many of the items needed to live in your inflation calculations, that makes it much simpler to pretend there is no such thing as well as to lie about it with a perfectly straight face.

 

Besides, how many people even pay attention to what their cost-of-living WAS in 1975 much less bother to compare it with their cost-of-living in the here and now?

- Compare the numbers presented here. Note the far right column reflecting what actually things cost in 2015. Then note the middle column showing those costs in 2015 dollars. See the "spread?" The difference is the extra money that has been skimmed-off. Some would say "carrying costs" while others call it "vigorish" or the "vig."

 

The take-away is this is money YOU no longer have (but somebody else does).
