Warbirds In Review: Gary Sinise

Gary Sinise is known to most of us as Lt. Dan or in the popular TV series “CSI New York”. Gary is also known as a true patriot and supporter of many veterans projects. This is evidenced by the work that he champions through his Gary Sinise Foundation. It is safe to say that much of Gary’s patriotism comes from his family’s service. Uncle Jack was a B-17 navigator who served proudly in World War II. Gary’s brother in law was a medic in Vietnam. Gary enthusiastically accepted our invitation to be a part of Warbirds in Review as an opportunity to recognize all veterans and pay tribute to the memory of these family members. The Lt. Dan Band will complete the Warbird’s Friday veteran tribute with their evening concert on Boeing Plaza. The Yankee Air Force B-17 will be a fitting backdrop for this program and will be open for tours on Warbird Alley
