Everyone a millionaire...no wait, a quadrillionaire!

 

Remember the communist revolutionary Robert Mugabe who 'fundamentally transformed' Rhodesia into Zimbabwe?

- Well, he also 'transformed' the local currency. While the Rhodesian Dollar was at party with, or worth slightly more, than the US Dollar (US$) today's Zimbabwe Dollar (Z$) is worthless.

 

Bobby's government will begin exchanging Z$ for US$ next week.

- Bank accounts up to Z$ 175 quadrillion will be paid at an exchange rate of US$ 1 [for Democrats and Republicans read: ONE] to Z$ 35 quadrillion.

- The last, and largest, Z$ note was printed in 2008. It wasn't enough to ride the bus. Holders of tis note will get forty US cents [for those who think their central bank has a handle on things read: $0.40].

 

I think I will keep my Z$ 100 trillion note on the wall alongside my US$ 1 Silver Certificate and a US$ 1 Federal Reserve Note as a 'reminder' of what communism can do for you.
