The Grubering Continues....................from Rico

Ya gotta just LOVE the smell of Obamunism in the morning.......and meanwhile, the Grubering of America continues.

- TAX and SPEND are  the only two things government does really well.

 

It's a damned good thing that the USG collected a 'record' 1,891,601,000,000 in taxes through April.

- Not that it will really help afford ObamaCare or Moochie's vacations.

 

After $205,242,270 in taxpayer money from HHS (which has given ~$4.5 billion to state ObamaCare exchanges) Hawaii's ObamaCare exchange will shut down.

- In it's first year, only 8,592 people were enrolled (at roughly $23,899 in costs per individual). It now has about 37,000 individuals enrolled...half the 70,000 it would take to reach 'break even' so the happy tax-slaves get to fork over another $30,000,000 to cover the costs of shuttering the failed state exchange.

 

Hawaii joins Maryland, Massachussets, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont who have all failed in their efforts at government central planning and closed their ObamaCare exchanges.

- Oregon alone spent $41,000,000 to close its exchange after blowing the $305,000,000 HHS gave it to set up the exchange.

 

Makes me wonder how many more vacations Moochie could have taken, had all this taxpayer money not been wasted............
