Beyond "stagflation"...................from Rico

Let's celebrate NFP Friday early, and go beyond "stagflation" while considering the dreaded "D" word everyone is so afraid of saying out loud.

- This is what you get when you skip the squishy socialism of Jimmy Carter and go directly into a drug-fueled version of Karl Marx.

 

Inflation? What inflation? No inflation to see here! Besdes, the last 'official' COLA adjustment was only 1.7% which proves either (a) there is NO inflation and we are under the FED 'target' of 2%, or (b) the gummint islying its ass off.

- Unit labor costs are UP 5% in 1Q, after going UP 4.2 the prior Q.

- That's 18.4% in six months.

- Annualized this is 18.4%.

 

Meanwhile, back on the collectivized farm.....er, economy the US GDP is tanking. (Anyone who cared to 'notice' and/or managed to ignore the "recovery baloney" being served for mass consmption already knows the GDP has been declining yearly and YoY since 2008.)

- The 'smart' money is running away from sovereign bonds right now.

- Anyone who is 'smart' witout money sould be taking a lesson from Venezuela and stockpiling toilet paper.
