My Great Grandfather Louis (Louie) was the sweetest human being I may have ever known, or may ever know.
- A real gentleman.
He was a pipe smoker when I knew him.
- No cigars. No cigarettes. At least not by then...
I have flirted with both cigarettes and cigars.
- But, like him, I am now fundamentally a PIPE kinda guy.
Even unsmoked, they can be appreciated, fondled gently, and even lovingly ....thoughtfully, pensively.....tapped.
- I have a few that I quite refuse to let go of, the old Meerschaum for example...
