A Few Thoughts on Obama, Iran, Israel......................by Dan Friedman

Israel: I am convinced the Israelis could pull off a successful raid on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. It’s not about Israel’s capabilities - which are becoming more potent everyday - it’s about their willingness to fight another war at this point. Perhaps the time isn’t right now, but it will be when Obama leaves office – regardless of who replaces him in 2017. Even President Hillary would be very unlikely to try knocking Israeli fighter jets out of the sky – especially with the Sunni Arab nations riding shotgun.

 

Iran: The Iranians are having nightmares and deep doubts about closing a deal with the “Great Satan” because they know that our government is set up with checks and balances, and Congress has not been heard from yet. This is what Khamenei meant when he just said America is “deceptive” and “devilish.” The same fears are also behind his demand that all sanctions be lifted the day the deal is done, because the Iranians understand Congress has a good shot to make any deal null and void. 

Obama: The cauldron boiling inside his head is roiling and getting hotter, enhancing the likelihood Obama will “lose it” within the last two years of his presidency. Real Jews, sadly a rarity in his circle but not in the Jewish state of Israel, infuriate Obama like they did Pharaoh and Haman. Take your pick, the results will be equally unpleasant. But in spite of the meds Obama’s been taking to calm him down, and the best efforts of his closest advisers to shield his rage from the public, human nature and G-d who created it, will inevitably take their course.
