Is Bibi Now The Leader of the Free World?......................from Dan Friedman

It’s just beginning to sink in what a historic turning point we witnessed in Israel yesterday. One good sign is the apoplexy on the Left. But it will become even more apparent in a very short time. So much was lost on the Obama line that the losers – here and there - may never recoup. Netanyahu is surely not moshiach, but for the moment he’s our best hope and we need to get behind him. In the absence of much proof, I’ve prayed that he was a Jew who could rise to the occasion – the pintele yid waiting to be ignited. So far so good. We’ll have to see what he does in the coming months, especially on the Iran front. Everything else is commentary. But I know one thing for sure. Netanyahu is the prime candidate to be the leader of the free world, and as of Tuesday Obama is so far back you can’t find him with a pair of high-powered binoculars.
