There is an old investors proverb that says "As January goes, so goes the year."

 

That was from a time before Central Banks had managed to "rig" essentially every market, although they prefer the term "manage" because it sounds nicer.

- That is like using the word 'sociopath' instead of 'psychopath' because it sounds nicer yet they mean exactly the same thing.

 

We'll see how that proverb plays out in a centrally managed environment.
