SOTU Reaction: "Those Are Ridiculous Claims"...................from Dan Friedman

[Two Jews, one opinion. df]

Obama’s previous State of the Union address claimed last year would be a “breakthrough year.” In this year’s State of the Union address he announced that he would turn the page.
Turning the page on last year’s grandiose and dishonest claims is what Obama does with each new address. Each year terrorism has been permanently defeated and the economy has recovered; Al Qaeda is on the run, unemployed dentists from Poughkeepsie are learning to install solar panels and illegal aliens from Los Angeles are teaching sex ed to kindergarteners.
And then next year he comes out to announce once again that the country has recovered from the crisis that he had already announced that it had recovered from last year.
And everyone applauds.
What exactly is Obama turning the page on? Two lost wars and the lowest employed population since 1977… under his predecessor Jimmy Carter?

Just wanted to make sure you have the facts about Iran, etc., since the President mentioned it in the speech tonight.
For over a year the admin has claimed, falsely, that Iran's nuclear program has been "frozen" & their "progress halted" during the talks -- talks we were told would only last 6 months, yet are now heading toward 19 months (June 30th).
FAR FROM being "halted", during the negotiations, Iran has enriched at least one more bomb's worth of material, has advanced its plutonium track to 87% completion, and just announced it will build 2 more nuclear facilities. Does that sound "frozen" to you?  Not to mention other facts that contradict WH claims.

And it is SO much worse then that. The economy isn't getting better contrary to what the MSM says. The lower price for crude allowed us to spend the saving elsewhere and the "elsewhere" was counted as an increase and thus an improvement in the economy. It was a zero sum game with the money simply being spent differently. But wait, it gets worse. The real economy is going down and the slight bump around Christmas was treated as though it reflected the real economy. It didn't of course and with the post season closing of stores the real econmy has gone down even without the phony numbers around the drop in the price of crude. All of this is a result of the Marxist democrats and their Marxist's policies. We are doomed. Seriously there is no easy answer. I fully expect a 10 year long great depression.
