On my new smartphone is a
ringtone that features the soft, robotic voice of a make-believe woman saying “An
idiot is attempting to call you on your cellular device”. The phone number to
which that ringtone is assigned is that of the White House switchboard. In the unlikely
event Barack Obama should ever call me I want to know it’s him before I answer.
Leave it to this President to finally do the right thing and make a total mess
of it in the process. The right thing he did was to begin normalizing relations
with Cuba, but he went about it the wrong way and in the process gave away the
