Many years ago I served in the
Navy aboard nuclear submarines in America’s Cold War with the Soviet Union. The
general term “cold war”, when not specifically referring to the Cold War
between the America and the Soviets, is defined as a state of political
hostility characterized by threats, propaganda, and other measures short of
open warfare. It would take a pair of seriously dark rose-colored glasses to
not recognize the fact that America has been engaged in its own domestic cold
war for several decades. It would be foolish and very dangerous to not
recognize that our cold war is on the verge of erupting into a civil war. (continue reading)
