You know, if the GOP had
leadership that was ready, willing, and able to stand up to Obama on
immigration I wouldn’t have to do this. Why is it that the only people in the
world that are afraid to stand up to Barack Obama are in the Republican ‘leadership’?
When Obama announced his executive actions on immigration, he challenged the
GOP to send him a bill. Following that, in remarks at a High School in Nevada, he
mocked the GOP by saying “Why, I didn’t dissolve Parliament, that’s not how
our system works”. So far the best response we’ve heard from what passes for
GOP leadership is ‘we’re gonna fight this, you betcha’, or something to that
effect. Perhaps the most disturbing thing I’ve heard is a
claim by Rep. Michelle Bachman that the GOP leadership has indicated
privately that they are “not going to engage” Obama on this issue. Since the
GOP leadership cannot manage a response to the President, I guess I’ll have to
