While serving aboard nuclear submarines during Cold War I,
we often operated in close proximity to Soviet naval vessels which were
considered an imminent threat, and immediately upon detecting that threat we
were called to “battle stations” to enable us to prepare for an attack if it
should come. Due to our superior technology and tactics we were always able to
shadow these vessels as needed without being detected, so we never came under attack.
Being well equipped, well trained, and on the alert consistently kept the boat
and the crew safe during some very dangerous times.
America has an imminent threat fast approaching and
