It has often been noted that a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich if that was what a prosecutor wanted; sometimes though, it’s just baloney. By now most intelligent people, and even some Democrats, have arrived at the conclusion that Gov. Rick Perry is the victim of a grand jury that was one ham sandwich shy of a picnic, and a prosecutor that would never let professionalism and self-respect stand in the way of political vindictiveness.    (continue reading)
