Hezbollah (and Iran) is going to school on what Israel is doing in Gaza. If Israel goes all the way and drains the swamp, it will make Hezbollah think twice about messing with Israel from their rat holes in southern Lebanon. With the threat mitigated on that front - and the IDF still controlling Judea and Samaria - that in turn could clear the way for an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. (In your heart you know the Jews can do it.) Protective Edge has already seen Netanyahu push Kerry and Obama beyond their normal limits. Still, the dynamic duo is not through yet. They’re going to try applying more “pressure” while hiding behind the skirts of “civilian casualties.” But with a new mood taking hold in Israel, at this point Netanyahu is caught between a rock and a hard place. He must ask “what’s in it for me?” Do I placate Barack Hussein Obama or have my career ended by the Israeli people who won’t accept anything beyond a clear-cut victory?
