I asked this question almost a year ago, and Dershowitz never replied. I know, he’s been busy running hither and thither “defending” Israel from crimes it has never committed. But now that Obama has thrown away his smiley mask and clearly come down on the terrorists’ side, enquiring minds want to know whether the professor’s faith in Obama has been shaken yet. Specifically, Alan, if you knew what you know now in 2008 and 2012 would you still have endorsed Obama twice?

As long as Israel succeeds in defending itself against Hamas, Dershowitz will not disavow his support of Obama. But if Israel should start to lose the military struggle, you can bet Dershowitz will be on Obama's case to intervene on Israel's behalf. And since Obama will refuse to commit the US to any such intervention against Hamas, only then will Dershowitz be willing to admit publicly that he badly misjudged BHO.
