The Islamic Blitzkrieg.............from Dan Friedman

[Islam and its Jihadi cadre, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), are moving through the heartland of the Middle East faster than the Nazis rolled over Poland. As soon as they consolidate their hold on Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya and near the Israeli border, ISIS will slow down to consolidate its gains and then press on from there. From the look of things, the USA and Europe are treating this like a run-of-the-mill “crisis.” Big mistake (or bad plan Mr. Obama). If the West won’t open its eyes and come to grips with the enemy actually coming to destroy us - and the USA fails to admit we made a horrible error in 2008 - then in due course Islam will soon be at the Gates of Vienna as they were in 1683. If history is any guide, we are going to remain acquiescent until the knock on the door isn’t room service. Sure that’s an old scenario, but with Iran rushing headlong toward an Islamic H-Bomb, there’s no assurance the outcome will be the same. df]
