DJ surmises:
'If the Iraqis are bombing their own ammo depot at Habbenayah to prevent ISIS from getting the ammo - then they lost Anbar as well...
What I'm seeing of US forces is an evac force - not an intervention.
Where would a US intervention in Iraq stage through?
•GCC funds ISIS. There is no support for an US intervention in Iraq there.
•Jordan has enough of a Syria border problem already.
•Syria - rrrrriiiiiggggghhhhhttttt...
•Turkey is one of the victors - this puts the Kurds in their back pocket. A dependable source of oil.
•Iran is not going to let us through either - US troops on Iranian soil - rrrrriiiiiggggghhhhhttttt......
•We have no prepositioned equipment available in Iraq and most of what we have in theater is in the GCC/Israel.
Iraq is being written off by Obama from what I'm seeing.'
