Soros (first known to the nazis, and then most people since as "that rotten Hungarian") has an uncanny knack for both 'knowing' when markets are going to move, and making beaucoups money off these moves.

- Not that being uber-wealthy and well-connected has anything to do getting better information ahead of the rest of us mere mortals, or anything like that.

Infamous for once bragging that one of his greatest 'achievements' was breaking the Bank of England (well, that was long before he pulled-off the Barry fraud), he made an easy billion shorting the Pound Sterling at exactly the right time.

- Was he just 'lucky' or did he have some very good information?

He has had a string of such 'lucky' investments.

- Too many to be coincidence.
