[There is absolutely no consensus in New York’s Jewish community to support the inclusion of anti-Zionist elements on our dime. Quite the opposite. Yet our so-called leaders continue to invite and subsidize Israel bashers and other BDS-supporters to take part in Jewish events. (Do the names of Jew-haters Alice Walker and Roger Waters ring a bell?) Yes, there have been sporadic protests, but at this point they haven’t proved to be an effective deterrent. The smug empty suits keep coming back with their heads down and smugly charge ahead - the average Jew (and donor) be dammed!
But maybe this time around they have gone too far. The Israel Day Parade is a celebration of Israel for the entire pro-Israel klal, and there is no room for people or groups who want to do her harm. But only a groundswell of Jewish pride, and highly vocal and visible disapproval from the community-at-large, will get their attention this time. Email me if you want to help hold the unJewish quislings in our midst to account. I’ll put you in touch with the right people. df]

“We've seen this before: blind obedience is foolish and leaving our destiny and safety to those who claim they "know best" often can be devastating. This time in history, we must not make the same mistake.”
