[The Egyptian-based Muslim Brotherhood was intended to be Obama’s vehicle for the legitimation of the jihadist movement in America and worldwide. But that scheme was suddenly crushed when Egypt’s military took back control of the country last July. While Americans may have a hard time getting behind a military coup, in this case I’d recommend that we support it. Of all the possible outcomes with Obama’s Brotherhood in charge, this one is preferable and a blessing in disguise. df]
