Moshe Ya'alon, There He Goes Again....................from Dan Friedman

[Following on the heels of his recent "controversial" broadside aimed at the "messianic, obsessive" John Kerry, Israel's Defense Minister, Moshe Ya'alon, went on the attack again this week. Ya’alon, speaking at a major security conference, gave the backhand to Obama's overall policy in the Middle East.
I guess it's safe now to consider some political interpretations: Netanyahu is giving Ya'alon free rein and/or Bibi has chosen Ya'alon to be his alter ego. Then there is a more cynical view. Since there's so much growing opposition in Israel to the chimerical talks and the illusionary pot of gold at the end of the “peace process,” Netanyahu is using Ya'alon to deflect this trend and attempt to calm the sheep before Bibi lowers the boom and sends them to the abattoir. df]
