Anne Hathaway Nearly Drowns in Hawaii

We're all human. We're all vulnerable.

The difference for Anne Hathaway is that when she was literally screaming for her life, being pulled down below the surface with her hands waving in distress, a paparazzi cameraman was there to record the emergency.

In that regard, I don't envy celebrities. See, "Anne Hathaway Nearly Pulled Under by Riptide in Hawaii":
Anne Hathaway was seen screaming for help while she was stuck in a rip current in the ocean off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii on Wednesday.

But luckily for her a knight in shining armour, in the form of a nearby surfer, was on hand to help her escape the potentially treacherous waters.

And back on the shore, husband Adam Shulman was there to tend to her wounds with a first aid kit in hand, before proceeding to clean her cut left toe by sucking on it.
Yeah, and TMZ couldn't resist going with the gross toe-sucking angle, the pervs, "Anne Hathaway — Near-Death Encounter ... Gets Mouth-to-Toe Resuscitation."

God bless Hathaway. No one, not even a stuck up celebrity like her, ought to have a dangerous private moment like this ripped from private life and made gross tabloid fodder.

Oh well, who am I kidding?
