We're all human. We're all vulnerable.
In that regard, I don't envy celebrities. See, "Anne Hathaway Nearly Pulled Under by Riptide in Hawaii":
Anne Hathaway was seen screaming for help while she was stuck in a rip current in the ocean off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii on Wednesday.Yeah, and TMZ couldn't resist going with the gross toe-sucking angle, the pervs, "Anne Hathaway — Near-Death Encounter ... Gets Mouth-to-Toe Resuscitation."
But luckily for her a knight in shining armour, in the form of a nearby surfer, was on hand to help her escape the potentially treacherous waters.
And back on the shore, husband Adam Shulman was there to tend to her wounds with a first aid kit in hand, before proceeding to clean her cut left toe by sucking on it.
God bless Hathaway. No one, not even a stuck up celebrity like her, ought to have a dangerous private moment like this ripped from private life and made gross tabloid fodder.
Oh well, who am I kidding?
