Back Azimuth.....................from Rico

Some of us understand that the now 'classic' Communist slogan "FORWARD" is a back azimuth to human progress. - It's 180 degrees out. Back asswards. Then there are the fellow travelers: - idiots - useful idiots - willful idiots Progressives all, all gone full retard.

'A History of Soviet Russia' by Georg von Rauch,1972 (first published in 1957) -an interesting item in Chapter 3 follows: "It was not easy to win acceptance of these changes at the Tenth Party Congress which met on March 8,1921,but Lenin managed to gain his point. He admitted frankly that the party had gone too far, that the immediate transition to a purely socialist division of property exceeded the strength of the country. It would be first necessary to introduce a mixed economic system in which the socialized concerns would compete with private enterprise. It was hoped that the socialized part of the economy would gradually expand while private enterprise would gradually die out. Of socialism's final victory there could be no doubt, but it could not be hurriedly precipated."
The change Lenin refered to was the New Economic Policy (NEP)he was instituting. He needed to do this because he had to find a compromise between the theory of Marxist economic principles and reality. Personally I get REALLY tired of "O" talking about his democratic principles, he cannot own up to what he is.
