Shut Happens.......................from Rico

About 800,000 US government employees considered "non-essential" have been furloughed and told they cannot work on "any projects, tasks, activities or respond to emails."

- Tell me just how THAT is any change from when they were on the job?

Just a guess here, but it looks like the US government could easily 'do' with a million fewer employees and Joe Taxpayer would never notice that anything was different.

There is one bright spot in all of this "shut down" business, however.

- It looks like the Department of Price Fixing [read: Gold and Silver price manipulaton] was deemed "essential" and those employees are still on the clock.
