Hypothesis: If the Tea Party fractures the 2014 and 2016 votes into a Tea Party - Republican Party - Democrat Party result, does the entire country lose that election?
In other words if the Tea Party and Republican Party cannot find a way to work out some of the differences between them, the only result from that fact in the 2014 election and 2016 election will be Democrat Party victory.

We don't need a THIRD party, we just need a credible SECOND party.

How classically whiny. That waaah darn waaah Tea waaah Party waaah.
Remember McCain campaigned on the vote for me or you get the black guy platform. People didn't vote for him. So, by prevailing Republican logic, that screwed campaign was the fault of people who didn't vote for McCain. Yeah, right.
Romney was McCain 2.0: Vote for me or you get the black guy again. Didn't work again. Those darned voters didn't vote for Romney. Therefore it's their fault.
The Repubs who want the Tea Party (and everyone, really) to get in line "for the good of the country" really mean for the good of the country club. Those days are gone. Whining won't bring them back.
