We should never forget the events of August 6th, 2011, when Navy, Army and Air Force service members were lost in one tragic moment west of Kabul, Afghanistan. But, we should also consider and honor the wives, girlfriends, children and parents of those heroes - those brave souls who faced the ultimate personal tragedy with dignity, compassion and resolve.
