Take a look at median retirement savings for all Americans, and then compare them by age group.

- It looks very much like the idea of NOT saving for retirement is the operative plan (if NO plan can be called a plan). This is almost as good a 'plan' as depending upon Social Security for financial support in retirement is. In either or both cases...surely you jest!
