Call it what you will, the 'score' for the 4th of July weekend was 86 to 12 (86 wounded, 12 killed).

The attached letter from a former Chicago cop, might just as well have been written by a former Detroit cop, or one from ANY "progressive" urban paradise that has embraced their moronic socialist "politically correct" social-engineering programs and been under Democratic (C) rule for an extended period of time.

- I "knew" the shotguns had been removed from the patrol cars, but I had no idea that they stopped counting "bullet grazes" as wounds and had shifted to only counting shootings if there was a bullet hole. I guess it makes the numbers 'look' better, kind of like a BLS 'cooking the books' accounting scam.

It's "easy" to criticize the 'militarization' of police departments, especially if you have NO idea how they have been 'gutted' by the "pc" agenda.

- That job accomplished, these geniuses have turned their full attention to the US military, and the same results can be expected for them as our Chicago cop saw. Maybe then they can stop counting wunds unless there is an actual bullet hole? Worked a treat in Chicago!
