[Anti-Semitism, the world’s oldest hatred, is a latent tendency woven into the DNA of man. The disease may lie dormant between outbreaks but it’s never far from the surface, waiting for the slightest justification to spring to life. Right now, we’re in the midst of another cycle and the tiny Jewish state of Israel, and its “crimes,” are serving as the catalyst. History is trying to repeat itself, but today there is a difference and it’s driving the world mad. For the first time since ancient times, the Jewish people in the Land of Israel possess the wherewithal to strike down our enemies and deal them a crushing blow. Now all that’s needed to finish the job is a little faith in Hashem and the will to use the mighty arm He gave us. Even that may not be enough to uproot Jew-hatred, but it would be the closest we’ve ever come. df]
