If you buy food, or any of the items not 'calculated' in the current CPI, you understand very well that the Government is saving itself a LOT of money at your expense by grossly UNDERSTATING the inflation rate.

In this 'transformed' time of disinformation, "Chained CPI" is a 'changed' way to calculate inflation. A much better one from the Government's point of view, since it saves them even MORE money at your expense.
