"God and Country" - Wild Bill

My Dad was a cowboy. He rode the wire north of Brooks Alberta in the drylands.

He did not wear a hat except when out of doors on the job and he did not have seventies style ancient overgrown hippy style unkempt hair curling out from under.

My dad rode with wild men, Canadian vets. My dad was a German POW, captured from the Reichs Kriegsmarine by wild men of the Royal Navy in the Bay of Biscay when their RN cruiser sank his ship. He was imprisoned in Western Canada, gave his parole and became a cowboy. Pretty obviously, Dad was a wild man.

Dad would never call himself "Wild" anything. It would have disgusted him. Dad had many friends who served in the American and British armed forces. They were all real wild men, and got on quite well. They didn't call them selves "Wild" anything. It would have disgusted them.

For those reasons alone I have been unable to bring myself to watch your "Wild Bill" videos.
