Overseas readers cannot begin to appreciate what has been happening in this country over the past month; guns have been practically flying off the racks in gun shops. Firearms companies have hundreds of thousands of back orders, and many dealers have nothing left to sell.
There is a run on guns & ammo buying in this country, the likes of which have never been seen before. Let us give credit where credit is due, to the greatest weapons salesman of all time: Barack Hussein Obama.

I sold my Colt Sporter - AR-15 assault rifle to you - through the gun store where I bought it more than a decade ago. They put it on sale for $1875 and it sold before they could even get it logged in to their books.
I bought that AR-15 to compete in service rifle competition and kept it as an investment.
