Perception trumps reality. Again.................from Rico

As usual (yawn) I already had my desk calendar marked ahead of time for "NFP/Raid COMEX" since the Non Farm Payroll is one of the key 'triggers' for the paper masters of the universe to pull a bombing raid on the spot metals market.
- Gold closing at $1795.20 and Silver closing $35.12 on the CRIMEX yesterday was an additional clue for what we were going to be in for today.

Guess that pretty much disqualifies me from EVER becoming one of the Keystone CFTC cops.

I did NOT anticipate O'Barry's complete failure at the first 'debate' the other night, however.
- He was lazy and stupid, and it was clear that (1) as Bill Maher admitted he DOES need his teleprompter, and (2) His Imperialness felt quite above having to participate in anything more mentally rigorous than a TV appearance with the bimbo's on The View.

Proving once again that perception is more important than reality, today we get some really fake numbers saying unemployment is now 'only' 7.8% and not 8.2%. Whee. The chocolate rations will also soon be increased I'm told, double-plus good, eh? [1984]
- John Williams of ShadowStats who does NOT 'cook the books' and does NOT work for the Government still says the 'real' non-fake number for unemployment is still running in the low 20% range.
- While the complete, unadulterated BS from the BLS has by now become commonplace and expected, I would have to agree with Jack Welch that these Chicago Boyz are not above blatantly 'jiggering' the numbers to get a headline lower unemployment number after Moochelle got done beating Barry's dumb ass for his crummy debate performance, and you just KNOW he picked up the phone and told the BLS to do a better job of making him 'look' good or they would find themselves unemployed.

But back to the CRIMEX.
- You can clearly 'see' the hammering PM's took today from the Cartel. It's just another 'coincidence' and you need to move along now. Nothing to see here.

None of the CFTC 'regulators' could be reached for comment, since once they punched-the-clock they immediately went on coffee break to plan for their weekends in the Hampton's and perhaps some partying with the BLS boys so they could compare notes on how to 'rig' the system for fun and promotion.
