These are NOT good odds.
With socialist insecurity (Social Security), only the bottom 20% of earners even have a chance of breaking-even, the other 80% that have been forced to contribute will be screwed and get less than they contributed.
If you are in, and plan to remain in, the bottom rung of income earners you can expect to get back $1.25 for every dollar you 'contributed'...but do the math, everyone else will be 'stiffed' [read: see a negative return on your money].
